Continuing with my
tribute to Anand Bakshi and Rajesh Khanna, today’s film is Ajanabee (1974).
This blog contains three tracks from the film*.
If they were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein – which, as the name suggests, is a rain song – would be the first.
Bakshi penned the track, which was composed by R D Burman.
Lata Mangeshkar and Mr Kumar (Kisho)rendered it.
(*Note: The only song from the film that was excluded from this blog was Satrah Baras Ki Chhokariya. Kumar was joined behind the microphone by Asha Bhosle.)
