penchant for translation (yours truly included) to call it, “Dear O Dear”.
But the song certainly did not warrant such an exclamation.
And interestingly, it was the only song on the soundtrack of Raja Jani to be rendered by Kishore Kumar*.
The song, which Anand Bakshi penned, was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma.
(*Note: The other songs in the film – Aa Aa Kuchh Kehna, Duniya Ka Mela, Kitna Mazaa Aa Raha Hai and Mubarak Ho Tujhe Ae Dil – were Lata Mangeshkar solos.)
