It wAs(h)a typical Bhosle sizzler

There’s no two ways about the fact that Diljalon Ka Dil Jala Ke was a superb song.

The shortest of the three tracks from Zanjeer on this blog, it was three minutes and 55 seconds long*.

Gulshan Bawra penned the Kalyanji-Anandji composition, which was rendered by Asha Bhosle.

(*Note: Only two other songs from the film – Ms Bhosle’s other solo, Chakku Chhuriyan Tez Kara Lo, and Lata Mangeshkar’s solo, Bana Ke Kyon Bigada Re – were shorter. While the former was three minutes and 45 seconds long, the latter was three minutes and 25 seconds long.)
