By no
means would it be incorrect to state that there is hardly a Kishore Kumar fan
who doesn’t love Musafir Hoon Yaaron.
The
shortest of the three songs from Parichay on this blog, it was four
minutes and 58 seconds long.
It was
erroneously credited solely to R D Burman by those who aren’t familiar with the
men behind the scenes – it was actually composed by Pancham and guitarist Bhanu
Gupta (who was among a host of instrumentalists who collaborated with the
genius, who was among the most prolific composers then).
Gulzar
penned it.
