As(h)always, Mohammed Rafi was outstanding

The only song from Dharma (1973) on this blog was Raaz Ki Baat. In fact, it was the highlight of the film’s soundtrack.
The track, which was penned by Verma Malik and composed by Sonik-Omi, was picturised on Pran and Bindu.

But by no means was it a raaz (secret) that the pair of legends who (Bhos)lent it their voices – Asha and Mohammed Rafi – did a splendid job. And that was attributable to the fact that the genre (qawwali) was right up their alleys.

In fact, barring the song Omi rendered, they dominated the soundtrack.
