Kumar plus life plus journey equals a wonderful song.
The third in Kumar’s ‘Life is a journey’ trilogy*, Zindagi Ke Safar Mein was the longest song from Aap Ki Kasam on this blog – it was half-a-dozen minutes and 39 seconds long.
It was penned by Anand Bakshi, and composed by the one and only R D Burman.
[*Note: The others are Zindagi Ka Safar, from Safar (1970), and Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana, from Andaz (1971). These films, incidentally starred Rajesh Khanna as well. Lyrically, the three tracks happened to be in a sequence.]
