Hai Na Bolo Bolo was a popular children’s song from Andaz.
It was
rendered by Mohammed Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur, who were joined behind the
microphone by Sushma Shreshta and Pratibha.
In those
days, it was not uncommon for grown-up female singers to sing for girls, and
girls to provide playback for boys. So, it was Pratibha who sang for the boy
who played Deepu in the film.
The track
was penned by Hasrat Jaipuri, and composed by Shankar Jaikishan, who were
nominated in the Best Music Director category at the Filmfare Awards in 1972.
