This duo KompLemented each other

Amarjeet, who directed Gambler (1971), achieved a feat no other director has – songs from all his films have been covered on this blog (he directed just three Dev Anand-starrers over a period of 10 years, and the aforementioned film was the last).

If the three songs from the film on this blog were arranged in the alphabetical order, Choodi Nahin Mera Dil Hai would be the first.

It was also the longest – it was four minutes and 27 seconds long.

Gopaldas Saxena ‘Neeraj’ penned the S D Burman composition, which Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar (Kisho)rendered.
