A few years before
the Manmohan Desai-Amitabh Bachchan combo began to churn out one money-spinner
after another (with many a Laxmikant-Pyarelal track to cherish, of course), the
director did, albeit briefly, pack a punch with the real-life chacha-bhatija,
Shashi and Randhir Kapoor.
The first of the two Desai-Kapoor-R D Burman collaborations was Raampur Ka Lakshman (1972).
This blog contains a post on just one track from the film – Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein, which Majrooh Sultanpuri penned.
With Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar in top form, could anyone help being gum (lost) in their (Kisho)rendition?
