Loote Koi Man
Ka Nagar was the shortest track
on the soundtrack of Abhimaan – it was just three minutes and four seconds
long.
There’s no two ways about the fact that it was also the most underrated of the seven songs in the film.
It was rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar, who was joined behind the microphone by Manhar Udhas, the oldest of the three Udhas brothers who are renowned ghazal exponents.
Majrooh Sultanpuri penned the track.
It earned S D Burman his second Filmfare Award for Best Music Director in 1974.
