it be incorrect to state that Vaada Karo was the most popular song on the
soundtrack of Aa Gale Lag Jaa.
The film’s soundtrack was dominated by the one and only Mr Kumar. In fact, he (Kisho)rendered all its songs*.
He was joined behind the microphone by Lata Mangeshkar.
Sahir Ludhianvi penned the track, which was composed by Rahul Dev Burman.
[*Note: Aa Gale Lag Jaa was the first Manmohan Desai film since Kismat (1968) to not feature a song by Mohammed Rafi, who, according to the director, was God’s voice.]
