whose title was in my mind way before I sat down to pen it.
The track in question was Rafta Rafta, and it was the only song from Kahani Kismat Ki (1973) on this blog.
It was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Kumar, and must have become popular with eve-teasers from different parts of the country, given the use of various languages in the song (including Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi).
He was joined behind the microphone by Rekha, the film’s leading lady.
Rajinder Krishan penned the track, which Kalyanji-Anandji composed.
