Since music was an
integral part of every R K Films offering, it certainly wasn’t surprising that
this blog contains posts on four songs from Kal Aaj Aur Kal (1971).
If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, the hummable Aap Yahan Aaye Kis Liye would be the first.
It was rendered by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar, and picturised on Babita and Randhir Kapoor, who represented the second Kal – which means the future – in this tale of three generations. It marked the latter’s directorial debut too.
Gopaldas Saxena ‘Neeraj’ penned the Shankar Jaikishan composition.
