Mujhe Kuchh
Kehna Hai – the song from Bobby
– inspired the title of Tusshar Kapoor’s debut film, which released in 2001*.
There’s no two ways about the fact that the listeners loved the banter (i.e., the conversational portion that went, “Pehle tum pehle tum”).
The song, which Laxmikant-Pyarelal composed, was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and Shailendra Singh.
It was penned by Anand Bakshi, who penned the omitted track Ankhiyon Ko Rehne De as well.
(*Note: But unlike the word Kuchh in the 1970s song, the word Kucch in the film’s title was spelled with two Cs.)
