Aao Jhoomein
Gaayen was the longer of
the two songs from the Rakesh Roshan-starrer Paraya Dhan on this blog –
it was half-a-dozen minutes and 33 seconds long.
The next line of the song went, “Milke dhoom machayen”*.
By no means would it be incorrect to state that Asha and Kishore Kumar didn’t just (Bhos)lend the track their voices, but also the exuberance that has been their shared trait.
Anand Bakshi penned the track, which was composed by R D Burman.
[*Note: Incidentally, Roshan Jr. (Hrithik) machaoed dhoom too (in Dhoom 2, which released in 2006).]
