The only song from
Jaise Ko Taisa (1973) on this blog was the underrated Ab Ke Saawan Mein
Jee Dare.
The aforementioned line could be translated, “In this year’s monsoon, the heart fears”.
It is a song that can perpetually be dedicated to the BMC, which assures the people of Mumbai of its rain-readiness every monsoon (and we all know how things eventually pan out, don’t we?)
Jokes apart, it marks the completion of a hat-trick on this blog – Anand Bakshi penned the R D Burman composition, which was (Kisho)rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar.
