This Kishore solo was underrated

So chock-full of marvellous Kishore Kumar solos was the soundtrack of Mere Jeevan Saathi that I had to leave one of them (Aao Kanhai Mere Dham) out. But that was because I have never heard that song.

But, what was more interesting was the fact that one of the tracks that did not get away – Diwana Leke Aaya Hai – was an underrated song.

Of course, it would not be incorrect to state that the track – which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed by R D Burman – is as popular now as it was then.
