The youth loved this trAcK

Although Jawani Diwani had nothing to do with cricket, the film released on July 14, 1972. So the 47th anniversary of its release coincides with this year’s World Cup final.

By no means would it be incorrect to state that Jaanejaan Dhoondhta Phir Raha was the most popular duet in the film.

No prizes for guessing that it was (Kisho)rendered by Asha Bhosle and Kumar.

The track, which was penned by Anand Bakshi, was composed by none other than R D Burman.

The youth loved it, and the aforementioned quartet deserved the credit for that.
