Rafi's only contribution to the soundtrack of Abhimaan was Teri
Bindiya Re (which could be translated to, “The dot that adorns your
forehead” for the lack of a better phrase).
It was four minutes and 32 seconds long, and was the second longest (and the second shortest) of Lata Mangeshkar’s three duets in the film.
Although the track, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, also had references to a couple of ornaments [viz. jhumka (earring) and kangana (bangle)], it certainly wasn’t ornamental, but a bona fide hit.
It was composed by S D Burman.
