There’s no
two ways about the fact that the title of Manchali (1973) – which was
titled O Manchali Kahan Chali – was a catchy song.
No prizes for guessing that it was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Kumar, whose other contributions to the soundtrack of the film were a solo (Mile Kahin Do Anjabee) and a duet (Gham Ka Fasana, with Leena Chandavarkar, who was the leading lady of the film, and went on to become his fourth wife).
The track, which Anand Bakshi penned, was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma.
