While Kishore Kumar’s
contributions to the soundtrack of Aradhana, and his solo in Do
Raaste took him to the top, there’s no two ways about the fact that it was
his solo in another Rajesh Khanna-starrer that, incidentally, released the same
year that kept him there.
The film was Khamoshi, and the song – that showcased his outstanding vocal range – was Woh Shaam Kuch Ajeeb Thi.
Of course, that is my opinion, and I’m no expert on Hindi film music, but a mere fan.
