Aaj Raviwaar

And I am kicking
off this blog with posts on half-a-dozen tracks from the epochal Aradhana
(1969). If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, Baghon Mein Bahar
Hai would be the first.
A track that
became popular among youngsters in love, it was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and
Mohammed Rafi.
Anand Bakshi
penned the Sachin Dev Burman composition.
The Bengali
version of the song was titled Madhobi Futeche Oi and rendered by
Mangeshkar and Rahul Dev Burman. Rafi didn’t sing any song in that version of
the film.
